Industry representatives have called for a change of heart within the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) to help improve the governance and evolution of the global tobacco industry.

At the Global Tobacco and Nicotine Forum (GTNF 2021) in London last week, experts called on member states to take a greater interest in the upcoming ninth Conference of the Parties (COP9) to the WHO FCTC and make those in charge stick to what the treaty says.
