The World Health Organization (WHO) has released its first recommendations on clinical treatment for tobacco-use cessation.
The guidelines, the agency says, are aimed at helping users quit all types of tobacco products, including cigarettes, water pipes, smokeless tobacco, cigars, roll-your-own tobacco and heated tobacco products, and are mainly directed at healthcare providers, policy-makers and other stakeholders.
