- US - Nebraska: Legislative Bill 125 has been introduced, which would update Nebraska's tobacco and nicotine product regulations by introducing a new legal definition for “nicotine analogues” – substances that have a chemical structure similar to nicotine or produce similar neurological effects. The bill would expand existing definitions of alternative nicotine products and electronic nicotine delivery systems to include these nicotine analogues. It would further introduce a tax on alternative nicotine products, which would be 20% of the purchase price of such products.
