Will Brazil legalise heated tobacco products tomorrow or keep the ban?

A decision on the regulation of heated tobacco and vaping products in Brazil to be made tomorrow (17th April) could then potentially be overruled by the country’s legislature.

A bill is currently under review by the Senate Committee on Economic Affairs and was scheduled for a vote in March. However, the vote was postponed after a public hearing request was approved to debate the opinion of the rapporteur, senator Carlos Eduardo Torres Gomes of the right-wing Liberal Party.
