KT&G’s next-generation products enjoy over 70% sales growth worldwide

KT&G anticipate that alternative nicotine products will continue to make up greater proportions of its sales, with global next-generation product (NGP) stick volume growing year-on-year, the company revealed during a presentation of its second-quarter results.   

The company saw intensified penetration of the category, which led to higher demand domestically. It maintained its market leadership in Korea, despite stronger competition and new products from rivals.
