Still no regulations on heated tobacco in Panama after ban ruled unconstitutional

Nicotine alternatives remain unregulated in Panama following a 14th May Supreme Court decision declaring a 2022 law unconstitutional that banned e-cigarettes, heated tobacco and similar devices.

For the time being, the market appears to be continuing much as it had done previously. However, this could be due as much to a newly elected legislative body getting to grips with all of the issues at hand rather than an unwillingness to look at legislation for the nicotine alternatives markets.
