Venezuela is the latest Latin American country to issue a government decree banning nationwide sales, consumption, exports and distribution of heated tobacco and vapes.
On 1st August, the South American country published a decree in its official gazette that prohibits the “manufacture, storage, distribution, circulation, sales, import, export, use, consumption, advertising, promotion and sponsorship” of electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS), similar electronic non-nicotine systems, consumables, tanks or cartridges, conventional and heated tobacco products, herbal heated products, refill consumable containers, accessories and similar products.
