Poland proposes strict regulations on nicotine pouches to close legal loopholes

The Polish Ministry of Health has submitted a draft bill to the Council of Ministers aiming to bring significant changes to the regulation of nicotine pouches in Poland. For the first time, nicotine pouches – including synthetic nicotine variants – will be classified as related products under Poland’s tobacco laws, subjecting them to the same stringent restrictions as traditional tobacco products and e-cigarettes.
