23rd August 2022: US - DC: The Office of Tax and Revenue has issued a notice that the tax rate on “other tobacco products” for the tax year 2023, which begins on 1st October, will be 79% of the wholesale price – equivalent to the total tax on a packet of 20 cigarettes.
