- US - Tennessee: An ordinance to prohibit smoking and the use of vapour products in certain age-restricted establishments such as bars and music venues that was discussed in the Metropolitan Council of Nashville and Davidson County was deferred for a second time on 20th September; it was previously deferred on 16th August. Many owners of bars for over-21s are complaining, saying that this ordinance will drive them out of business, local news reports.

- US - Tennessee: Senate Bill (SB) 2219 was signed into law by the governor yesterday, 1st June. This bill would authorise local governments to regulate smoking and vaping, including the prohibition of smoking and the use of vapour products in age-restricted venues.

- US - Tennessee: House Bill 2058 has been signed by both the Senate and the House Speaker and will now be sent to the governor for signature. This bill defines "smokeless nicotine product" and would add those products to the type of products that are age-restricted to persons aged 21 and over under the state law.
