Lebanon: heated tobacco regulation, April 2024

Heated tobacco in Lebanon is subject to state monopoly. On 2nd October 2015, the minister of finance issued decree 877/2015, which legalised heated tobacco, added it to the tobacco regime and subjected it to a monopoly held by the Lebanese Tobacco and Tombacs Authority.

Flavours are allowed, and herbal heated products are not explicitly regulated but subject to general consumer rules.
