Swedish Match has reported a 17% sales increase in the first half of the year, driven by smoke-free products, with solid growth for its Zyn nicotine pouches in both the US and Scandinavian markets and “excitement” about the introduction of new technology in its Volt brand.
The Stockholm-based manufacturer posted sales of SEK10.45bn ($1.02bn) for the first six months of 2022, up from SEK8.96bn ($870m) for the same period last year. For the second quarter, the company reported sales of SEK5.56bn ($540m), up 23% from the same period of 2021.
