Czech Republic could be facing nicotine cap and other restrictions on pouches

The Czech Republic Ministry of Health is preparing to introduce restrictions on the marketing and production of nicotine pouches. The planned amendment to legislation on tobacco products would also cap nicotine content at 10 mg per pouch.

The ministry said it thought nicotine pouches were a potentially problematic area – despite the country’s acceptance of harm reduction as a tobacco control strategy.
