Nicotine pouch sales are currently banned in Lithuania, but that could soon change.
The Ministry of Economy and Innovation has developed amendments to the country’s Law I-1143 on the control of tobacco, tobacco products and related products which are to pave the way for the availability of nicotine pouches starting in May 2024.
In addition to Law I-1143, the proposed legislative package is to introduce several changes to Lithuania’s Administrative Offences Code.
