The Reagan-Udall Foundation’s reports on the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) provide “substantially different future policy implications” for the different FDA programs investigated, according to a lawyer specialising in FDA regulation.

The report on the FDA’s Human Foods Program emphasises specifics for the agency’s organisational structure unlike the recommendations in the report on the FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products (CTP), which has a more operational focus, urging a more proactive approach to enforcement, attorney Joshua Ari Van De Riet told TobaccoIntelligence.
