While nicotine pouches are not specifically regulated under the Tobacco Products Act, it does ban oral tobacco. Latvia is in the process of adopting a bill that would ban flavoured nicotine pouches. It is expected to have its third and final reading in the next few months, which means it could be passed by the end of the first quarter of 2023 given its popular support.
