Sweden’s alternatives advocates worried about COP10 impact on snus and pouches

Swedish sources worry strong domestic support for products like snus will be lost when one delegation represents the EU as a whole at the upcoming tenth Conference of the Parties (COP10) to the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC).

COP10, which has been rescheduled, will now take place in Panama from 5th to 10th February, and strong measures to limit access to alternative tobacco products have already been suggested.
