So far, the government hasn’t declared any intention to specifically regulate oral tobacco and nicotine pouches.

The Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Health have been discussing the regulation of “new generation tobacco” in the last few years. Although focusing on heated tobacco and e-cigarettes, it could lead to a discussion about regulating or banning nicotine pouches and snus.
