Heated tobacco products are considered a new category of tobacco products in Hungary, and they must be notified six months prior to launch. The only type of oral tobacco allowed is chewing tobacco. Oral tobacco pouches (snus) are banned, while nicotine pouches are considered tobacco-related products.
